One of the largest producers of railcar casting in Russia, Bezhitsk Steelworks, a subsidiary of Transmashholding, plans to cut about 25% of the employees.
The management of Bezhitsk steelworks has not yet spread the official notification of layoff, but Bryansk Employment Center confirmed the information about the upcoming reduction of 1 thousand men at the factory.
