In January, Russia increased coal production by 3.5% to 28.498 million tons, the Central Dispatch Department of the Fuel and Energy Sector reports. Total supplies of Russian coal to the internal market reduced by 5.8% to 16.729 million tons. Coal exports increased by 18.1% to 12.26 million tons, and imports increased by 4% to 3.063 million tons.
