In December, Russia and China may sign Uchaly agreement

In December, Russia and China may sign an agreement on a joint project for the processing of copper-zinc ore on the basis of Uchaly ore-dressing plant, the Prime Minister of Bashkortostan Rustem Mardanov reports.

The Uchaly GOK is a plant for processing of copper-pyrite ores and production of copper and zinc concentrate. In September 2015, the company was visited by a delegation from China, which included representatives of Jiangxi Copper Corporation and the Beijing Central Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. At the meeting the production of minerals from mining waste, located in the unallocated subsoil fund in the republic, was discussed.
