Nord Gold is to produce 24-26 tons of gold before the end of the year

In H1, 2013 Nord Gold produced 416.3 thousand troy ounces of gold (almost 13 tons). It is by 30% more than the same period last year. The revenue is up by 17% to $617.1 million.
Nord Gold maps out to produce 770-850 thousand tons ounces (24-26 tons) of gold before the end of the year. The company is about to increase production owing to such factors as:
- An increase of production at Bissa deposit. The production volume exceeded the forecast for 2013 by 100 thousand ounces
- Gross mine is to give the first gold within the frame of pilot development in Q4, 2013. The production is expected to make up 15 thousand ounces
