Ukrainian steel production down by 28%

In January – May 2015 Ukraine produced 9.247 million tons of primary steel, which is 28% lower year on year. Production of ready rolled stock in the same timeframe dropped 30% year on year – to 8 million tons, production of cast iron – by 30% to 8.363 million tons, production of pipes – by 40% to 368,000 tons, production of coking coal – by 41% to 4.251 million tons.
