Russia extracted 356 mln tons of coal in 2014, by 6 mln more than in 2013.

A. Novak announced these results at the meeting with Mr. Putin. According to the Minister, the investment into the coal mining sector made up 60 bln roubles, due to which a few new projects in Kuzbass were launched.

Mr. Novak said that by 2020 Russia plans to increase coal extraction to 380 mln tons, by 2035 – to 480 mln tons, the press service of the Kremlin said. Previously Pronedra reported about the rise of coal export from Russia by 8%.on the results of the year.
