UC Rusal anticipates aluminium consumption growth by 6% a year within 2013-2015

The world consumption of aluminium will increase by 6% a year within the period from 2013 to 2015, O.Mukhamedshin, the director for strategy and business development of UC Rusal said.
He has also added that amendments into the storage regulations on the London Metal Exchange (LME) are expected to have an impact on the aluminium market. According to him, aluminium supply shortage is monitored everywhere, except China, due to a reduction of production capacities and high level of metal consumption.
