Severstal decided to make Voronezhselmash bankrupt

​“Severstal-Distribution” has filed a claim on the bankruptcy of Voronezhselmash to the Arbitration Court of Voronezh.

The claim was filed on September 25th.

The basis for bankruptcy claim by the distributor of the steel making company was the decision of the Vologda Arbitration Court made in June. The Court collected 875 thousand roubles of penalty from Voronezhselmash.

In September the decision of the Vologda Arbitration Court was confirmed  by the Court of Appeal but it can be put in question within 2 months. However, Voronezhselmash hasn’t filed a cassation appeal against it as yet. Voronezhselmash acknowledged the presence of the main debt by the supply agreement at the volume of over 800 thousand roubles and put in question the collection of a penalty of 37 thousand roubles. However, there is a demand to collect 875 thousand roubles again in the bankruptcy claim of “Severstal-Distribution”.
