The Ukraine restores production of cast iron and steel

In August 2015, the smelting of cast iron and steel in the Ukraine exceeded indicators in August 2014 and increased as compared to the previous month. The production of cast iron in the annual comparison increased by 21.6% to 1 927 thousand tons, steel by 8.8% to 1 920 thousand tons, finished rolled metal by 10.1% to 1 721 thousand tons. This was reported by the trade association Metallurgprom.
