Chelyabinsk electrometallurgical plant to decide on purchase

A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Chelyabinsk electrometallurgical plant (ChEMK, a part of the Ural-Siberian Metallurgical Company of Chelyabinsk businessmen Alexander Aristov and Yuri Antipov), during which an issue on purchase of the Serovsky ferroalloy plant (the Sverdlovsk region) will be considered, is fixed on August, 4. Today the asset belongs to the Kazakh group Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation (ENRC) and its affiliated structures. The plant is estimated at 12 billion rubles. The deal must be approved by the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service.
