Severstal becomes one of the three most competitive steel-smelting companies in the world

The international research company World Steel Dynamics (WSD) has made a rating of the 35 most competitive steel-smelting companies in the world on results of 2012. Severstal, one of the largest world vertically integrated steel-smelting and mining companies, was the third in this rating, it was ahead of such companies as Indian JSW Steel (the 4th place), Jaoanese Nippon Sumitomo (the 5th place), Brazilian Gerdau (the 6th place), American Nucor (the 7th place) and many others.
