International oil chemicals companies to reduce investment into long-term projects
Edited by Rhod Mackenzie
The investment of international oil companies into the long-term projects will fall due to the low prices for oil, analysts of JP Morgan say.
According to their report, the planned for realization projects that haven’t been approved as yet will be thoroughly studied for the issue of their pay back.
Analysts think the investment into mature deposits within 18 months will fall.
Currently the Brent oil is traded at about $59/barrel, WTI - $56/barrel. The referendum in Greece had a negative impact on the listing of Brent. The price for WTI also fell on the signs of recovery of drilling operations in the USA.
