Gold production in the Amur region will keep the level of 2015 and make up about 25 tons in 2016-2017, Minister of Natural Resources of the Amur River region Y.Privalov stated.
The enterprises in Khabarovsk region increased placer gold production twice up to 0.56 tons since the start of washing season, press-service of the regional government stated.

Amur Minerals has announced about the completion of the evaluation of the resources at the Kubuk site at the Kun-Manie deposit in the Amur region. In comparison to the previous evaluation, the deposit’s copper and nickel ore resources increased by 25% to 25.7 million tons with average nickel content of 0.52% and copper content of 0.15%. The prospected nickel resources increased by 12% to 133,000 tons, copper resources increased by 20% to 39,400 tons and the platinum group metal resources increased by 33% to 7.2 tons.
The authority of the Amur Region is about to support the Closed Joint-Stock Company “Kun-Manie” (part of Amur Minerals) in the receipt of state subsidies for the construction of infrastructure for the development of the same named field, the governor of the Amur region, A.Kozlov said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Issues of development of the mining industry of the Khabarovsk Region have become the subject of discussion in the regional government. During the meeting, participants discussed measures to increase the production of precious metals in the Khabarovsk Region. For example, new mining and processing plants are planned to be build in the region.

“Amur Zoloto” LLC (part of “Russian platinum”) will launch gold processing plant of Yubileiny GOK at the deposit Krasivoye in Amur region after reconstruction by mid-2016, OJSC “Irgiredmet” reports.
According to the institute, the production capacity of the plant, which will produce Dore gold and silver, will make up 82.4 thousand tons of ore per year, the total cost of reconstruction makes up about 500 million roubles.
