The first deputy general director of Norilsk Nickel Pavel Fedorov: Resourse base allows Norilsk Nickel to be one of world leaders in the sector

The first deputy general director and CEO of Norilsk Nickel Pavel Fedorov has noted in an interview with the Kommersant that working on the implementation of the tasks of the Development Strategy through until 2025 "we have rather deeply analyzed every step of the creation of value at our high-class production sites, identified key bottlenecks and consider, what investments they can be untied to discover the potential of the business".
According to Fedorov, the restructuring of the metallurgical treatment of the company is an important part of the strategy. The focus is made on the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, on the upgrade of Norilsk Nickel’s Zapolyarny subsidiary. After all, the main first-class assets of Norilsk Nickel are located on Taimyr.
