In particular, the interaction of the parties in the development and deployment of energy efficient technologies for oil fields and refineries, such as heat recovery systems, variable speed drives and upgraded electricity network (Smart Grid system), compressors for the onshore and offshore fields.
A ceremony of laying the first ice-breaking vessel under Arc130A project, Ice Class Icebreaker 8, built by order of Gazpromneft was hosted in Vyborg Shipyard (VSZ). The ship was named "Aleksandr Sannikov".
Two icebreaking vessels intended for operation in the Gulf of Ob (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District) for the oil terminal on Novoportovsk field will be built at VSZ. Ships are intended to ensure the shipment of oil, icebreaking tankers, rescue, towing vessels, firefighting, participation in oil spill response operations.
The Russians will have to learn how to grow vegetables, produce medicines, sew clothes and to live with their wits, as well as master and manufacture their own equipment in the country's basic industry - oil and gas.
According to the plans of the RF Ministry of Industry and Trade, in 2020 the share of Russian equipment in this sector should be increased from 40 to 57%. With regard to oil and gas engineering, its share is planned to be reduced from the current 60 to 43% by the same year - this is the RF Ministry of Energy data. "Public control" tried to understand whether the Russian companies are ready to supply their own equipment or not.
At the First East Economic Forum, which was held in Vladivostok, the industry dialogue on the theme "Northern Sea Route: how to realize the transit potential" took place. To date, the potential of the Northern Sea Route is still underutilized. The main users of the Russian national maritime transport route in the Arctic is Norilsk Nickel. Active development of the Northern Sea Route started from the development of nickel deposits in Norilsk. Today, the potential of the Northern Sea Route is increasingly associated with oil and gas deposits on the Russian shelf, but the transit container flows may be another driver of the Northern Sea Route development.
Shipbuilding enterprises of Russia and Asian countries will increase the rate of production of mobile drilling platforms for offshore operations in Russia.
It is expected that by 2030 on the Russian shelf the number of drilling rigs will double to 30 units, the Deputy Energy Minister Kirill Molodtsov informs.

Gazpromneft delivered 1st oil from Novoportovskoye field through the Northern Sea Route to Europe.
Ice-class tanker delivered 16 thousand tons of Novy Port grade oil and completed an overload of raw materials into the tank farm.
Currently the 2nd tanker is on the way to Europe, which provides transportation of Novy Port oil.
