Kyrgyzstan and Russia sign agreement in the field of oil and oil products supply

Russian-Kyrgyz intergovernmental agreement in the sphere of oil and oil products was signed on Monday during the official visit of the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to Kyrgyzstan.
The document was signed by Medvedev and the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sooronday Jeenbekov at the state residence Ala-Archa.

Gazprom to invest 100 bln rubles in gas transportation system of Kyrgyzstan

Gazprom intends to invest about 100 billion rubles in the gas transportation system of Kyrgyzstan until 2030, and a third of this amount - in the next two years, said the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev by results of the Russian-Kyrgyz talks on the level of prime ministers.
"In Kyrgyzstan, the leading Russian companies actively work, today we specifically mentioned the work of Gazprom to provide the republic's demand for natural gas. Once again I would like to say that there are powerful plans - to invest in gas transmission and distribution system of Kyrgyzstam about 100 billion rubles till 2030, "- said the Russian Prime Minister. "Accordingly, it is a significant way to raise the level of the gas supply in the country," - he said.

Kyrgyzstan to pay debt to Gazprom in the amount of about $2.2 million before October 1st

Kyrgyzstan intends to pay off the debt for natural gas to Gazprom-Kyrgyzstan before October 1, 2015. This was stated by the country’s Minister of Energy and Industry Kubanichbek Turdubaev.
"In total, our debt makes up 405 million soms (about $6.2 million), - the Ministry said. - In July, we repaid 185 million soms ($2.85 million), an on September 1 we paid 70 million soms ($1.07 million)".

Gazprom to supply gas to over 60% of Kyrgyzstan

In the framework of the strategic partnership with Kyrgyzstan, Gazprom will supply gas to over 60% of the country, the country's President, Almazbek Atambayev said on Friday.
In April 2014, an agreement on purchase of 100% of the shares of the Kyrgyz national gas operator KyrgyzGaz by Russian Gazprom at a symbolic price of $1 was signed. Under the agreement, all assets and debts of KyrgyzGaz were transferred to Gazprom. "The Russian side ensured investments in the modernization of the gas infrastructure of Kyrgyzstan in the amount of not less than 20 billion rubles over five years, later the investment plans grew to 34 billion rubles.

All railway cars with fuel, oil and lubricants, stopped in Kazakhstan, are delivered to Kyrgyzstan

All the railway cars with fuel, oil and lubricants, detained in Kazakhstan in 2014,  have arrived in Kyrgyzstan, the Association of Oil Traders of Kyrgyzstan reports.
Since April 2014, the Kazakhstan’s Customs Service didn’t pass the railway cars with fuel and lubricants, which went from Russia to Kyrgyzstan. According to the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan Atameken, the reason for the detention was the Kazakhstan Government’s decree on the introduction of restrictions on  petroleum products export.
According to Sputnik Kyrgyzstan, the Kazakh side didn’t pass the railway cars because of the wrong customs documents. After receiving the relevant documents, it was necessary to pay $13 million for the downtime of the railway cars.

Review of gas tariffs in Kyrgyzstan not to be carried out

The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Temir Sariev has denied reports about the alleged planned increase in gas prices in the country, explaining that in the next three year the tariffs won’t be reviewed.

"KazTransGas" and "Gazprom" to increase the capacity of the main gas pipeline passing through the territory of Kyrgyzstan.

A meeting of "KazTransGas" and JSC "Gazprom" representatives, which discussed the issues of increasing the capacity of the Kyrgyz section of the MG (the main gas pipeline) BGR-TBA (Bukhara gas region Tashkent-Bishkek-Almaty) for stable gas supply to consumers in Almaty and the Almaty region, was held in Astana, the press service of JSC "KazTransGas" informs.
"At present the technical condition of the main gas pipeline and gas pumping units at CS (compressor station) "Sokuluk" in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, limits the capacity of MG BGR-TBA.

By 2030 Gazprom to sell gas at 60% of Kirghizia’s territory

By 2030 Gazprom wants to sell gas at 60% of the territory of Kyrgyzstan. By the general gasification scheme planned for the coming 15 years, Gazprom plans to provide gas supply at 60% of the territory of Kyrgyzstan. This is the information of the CEO of “Gazprom promgas”, Y. Spektor.
He said that the program’s realization presupposes the growth of the gas pipeline networks length in Kirghizia up to 2.75 thousand km, construction of the north-south pipeline, construction of LNG units and construction of 2 gas distribution stations in Bishkek.
Gazprom purchased the controlling package of shares of Kirghizgas in the spring 2014. The company also showed its readiness to invest about 20 bln roubles in the infrastructure, geological exploration and other projects on the of the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
