Russian pipe manufacturers have received most of the orders of one of the largest projects of Gazprom Nord Stream-2: 60% of the deliveries for approximately 2.6 billion euro were given to OMK and ChTPZ. Russian pipe manufacturers prepare to fight against foreign competitors for the supply of pipes for the second stage of the Nord Stream gas pipeline. Analysts have estimated that the total value of the order could be around $3 billion, of which the Russian players, despite the lower cost of the production, at best, will get half. The rest will go to foreigners, since the project needs the support of the European Union.
