Krasnoyarsk enterprise of Rosgeologiya assessed the resources of perspective for gold and copper object in TuvaEdited by Rhod Mackenzie / 2016-02-12 03:26:31
JSC Krasnoyarskgeolsyomka (in the structure of Rosgeologiya) has completed the execution of the state contract or geological additional study o the Kyzyl site located in the Kyzyl, Piy-Khemsky, Tandinsky and Kaa-Khemsky districts of the Republic of Tuva. The works have been held since 2013. Tyvanedra ordered the works. The area of the studied site is 5,132 sq km.
In the framework of the project research works, laboratory works, geochemical sampling were held, sediments of the Ulug-Khemsky coal basin were studied, the geophysical and geochemical basis were prepared and tested.
The borders of the Tannoulsko-Ulugousky gold-polymetallic minerogenic and Kalbaksky coper-molybdenum ore areas and the Tapsa –Kaakhemsky alluvial gold area were specified. Within the borders of the latter the Terektigsky golden ore hub and Ondumsky ore zone were separated. The first object was issued a passport with the assessment of forecast P1 copper and gold resources - 1.7 mln tons and 33 tons respectively.
On the results of the geochemical survey at the Kyzyl site, 7 anomalous geochemical fields of golden ore were discovered, forecast P3 resources of copper, zinc, silver were assessed – 850 thousand tons, 500 thousand tons and 563 tons respectively.
The Siberian Federal University has developed a unique technology to search minerals on the basis of extraction of information from natural electromagnetic and seismic noise, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation reports.
Scientists have found a way to significantly reduce material costs, which are required by the search for new mineral deposits. The new instrument will allow oil companies to reduce the costs for the development of platforms three times. The innovative technology is based on the principle of sound research of oil reservoirs.
The specialists of Yuzhgeologiya and Koltsovgeologiya (both in the structure of Rosgeologiya) have completed prospective drilling for alluvial gold at the Teplinsky and Arsikomsky ore fields in North Osetiya.
The main contractor is another enterprise of Rosgeologiya – Sevosgeolrazvedka (Vladikavkaz). The right to sign a contract was given on the results of the tender held by Rosnedra in June 2013.
In the first field season the works at the object Sevosgeolrazvedka found out perspective for gold areas. Channel sampling was held at the site.
Yuzhgeologiya couldn’t complete in full the order in August 2014 due to the climatic conditions as it is located at the height of 2-3 thousand m above the sea level.
In the new season Yuzhgeologiya and Koltsovgeologiya drilled 6 wells with the inclination of 75-90 degrees, depth of 200-300 m; 80% core sample collection was held at the ore site.
The enterprises reached the goal. Core sample collection reached 100%.
Rosgeologiya started to search for ore deposits of copper sandstones, suitable for in situ leach mining, within the southern part of the Urals.
The part of the Orenburg-Bashkir prospective area will be explored. Work will be performed in the Orenburg region, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Perm Region.
