Last year another partner joined the agreement on the scientific and technical cooperation between "KazTransOil" and ChTPZ – MMK.
The Russian steel group "ChTPZ" has delivered high-strength pipes for the repair of the TON-2 pipeline in Kazakhstan.
The global reconstruction will involve more than 14 thousand large-diameter pipes. "KazTransOil", which is a customer of the batch, reported that work is already scheduled to be completed this year. The updated pipeline could transfer up to 10 million of oil per year, whereas before the repair it could overpower no more than 7 million tons of "black gold".
In March-April 2015, Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant (ChTPZ) will supply 10 thousand tons of large-diameter pipes (LDP) for the construction of the second section of the Beineu-Bozoi-Shymkent main gas pipeline, implemented by Kazakhstan and China. This was reported by the press centre of the ChTPZ Group.
In March and April Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant will deliver 10,000 tons of large-diameter pipes (LDP) for the construction of the second section of the main gas pipeline "Beineu-Bozoi-Shymkent", implemented by the Republic of Kazakhstan and the People's Republic of China.
Under the terms of the contract the ChTPZ group will ship pipes with diameter of 1,067 mm, with wall thickness of 11.9 mm, with external three-layer anticorrosion coating of sheet with X70 strength class from Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Plant to the customer - JSC "Beineu-Shymkent".
