A new coal mine to be opened in Karaganda

In 2017 Kazakhmys plans a small increase in production.

In 2016 the Kazakhmys Corporation produced 225.657 thousand tons of copper cathode equivalent. This figure exceeded the same period of last year by 5.4 thousand tons (a 2.5% increase).
