In Q1 2017 cargo turnover of the Novorossiysk Sea Trade Port group made up 37.3 mln tons, by 0.7% higher than in Q1 2016.
Evraz has postponed a tender on the sale of “Evraz NTMP” in Nakhodka, the owner of Novoport, R. Trotsenko, said.
Evidently the deal will be held in another form, he said.
Evraz is looking for a buyer of 100% of shares of Evraz NTMP port in Nakhodka.
In January-October 2016 the volumes of transshipment of iron ore raw martials via the Novorossiysk sea trade port rose by 0.709 mln tons (or 40.8%) and reached 2.445 mln tons.
Cargo turnover of the sea ports of Russia in Jan-July 2016 grew by 5.8% against Jan-July 2015 to 406.2 mln tons, the Association of sea trade ports reports.
In January-May 2016, the freight turnover of Transneft’s marine terminals, which accounts for up to 19.7% (-0.1 percentage point) of the aggregate turnover of the Russian ports, amounted to 56.32 million tons (+ 5.5% compared to January-May 2015).
In particular, according to the Association of Sea Trading Ports of the Russian Federation, on the basis of which the TASS prepared the rating, in the reporting period, the freight turnover of Transneft - Port Kozmino increased by 3.4% to 13.14 million tons, Neva Pipeline Company - by 6.3% to 12.11 million tons.
There is a new Cargo terminal at the Evraz Nakhodka sea trade port that unites production-loading complexes #4 and 5 located at the Astafiev cape.
The new terminal works with coal, coke, cast iron and products of metallurgical plants of Evraz.
According to the port’s management, the alliance of complexes will allow to increase the efficiency of treatment of vessels with rolled products.
We could see the effect of the new terminal the first days of its functioning, the managing director of Evraz NTMP, V. Saraev, said. The loading volumes of rolled products onto vessels significantly rose. We expect a further efficiency growth.
Last year the complexes #1 and 3 were united into the Coal terminal. It allowed to increase the efficiency by 10%, set a record of unloading (148 wagons a shift) and daily loading onto vessels (66 thousand tons of cargo) for the entire history of the port.
Now there are 2 large terminals at the port, each comprises 8 piers and is about 2 km long.
The Vysotsky port (Vysotsk, Leningrad region) plans to invest about $100 mln into the foundation of a coal terminal with the capacity of up to 12 mln tons of coal a year.
In 2015 coal transshipment via the Vysotsky port made up 5.6 mln tons. In 2016 it is planned to increase this volumes up to 6.2 mln tons.
Now only port cranes are used or coal transshipment at the Vysotsky port. A new coal terminal will comprise special vessel loading machines, dumping machines and other equipment. Similar complexes now transship coal in Ust-Luga and the Vostochny port.
The coal terminal is planned to be put into operation in 2020.

Following "Kolmar" Gunvor sold control of oil product terminal "Ust-Luga Oil" to the structure of businessman Andrey Bokarev. He began working with Gennadiy Timchenko even before the sanctions, becoming in 2012 the owner of the railway operator "Transoil". But the terminal was the largest deal in the history of this partnership - analysts estimate the share in it at 70 billion roubles.
In January 2015, the consolidated turnover of NMPT Group made up 12.7 million tons, which is by 16.2% more than in January and by 40.1% more than in December 2014.
The transshipment of bulk cargo amounted to 963.3 thousand tons; general – 1.093 million tons; containers - 367.3 thousand tons and 37.2 thousand TEU. The growth as compared to January of last year took place in all categories of goods.
