In the period of July 1-28, 2015, the Ukraine transported 6.137 billion cubic meters of gas to Europe. This is by 28.8% more than in the same period of 2014.

Since the beginning of the year, a little less than 5.2 billion cubic meters of gas pumped into Ukrainian storages

As of the morning of July 27, the stocks in underground gas storage facilities of the Ukraine made up 12.8 billion cubic meters, the press centre of Ukrtransgaz reports.

The Ukraine increased gas imports from Slovakia by almost 40%

​The Ukraine increased gas import from Slovakia by almost 40% to 24 mln cubic m a day, the head of the press service of Ukrtransgas, M. Belyavsky, said.
As of today the daily gas shipment from Slovakia is 24 mln cubic m, by 7 mln cubic m more than yesterday, he said.
Daily 40 mln cubic m of gas is loaded into the underground gas storages  and 12.6 bln cubic m have been accumulated there. On Tuesday the growth of gas pumping to Europe via the Ukraine is expected.
According to Ukrtransgas, by the preliminary application of Gazprom the growth of volumes by 5 mln cubic m is expected to 225 mln cubic m a day.

"Ukrtransgaz": within two weeks 3 billion cubic meters of gas are transported to the EU.

The Ukraine had transported more than 3 billion cubic meters of gas to Europe during the first two weeks of July, the press service of the Ukrainian gas transmission system operator "Ukrtransgaz" stated on Wednesday.
"Within 14 days in July more than 3 billion cubic meters of natural gas was transported for European consumers. Around 210 million cubic meters are transported through domestic gas transportation system to Europe daily. Traditionally, all applications run on time and in full scale", - the statement informs.

The Ukraine increases gas import from Slovakia to 16.5 million cubic meters

On Friday, the Ukraine increased gas imports from Slovakia by 18% to 16.5 million cubic meters per day, head of the press centre of Ukrtransgaz, which is the operator of the Ukrainian gas transport system, Maxim Belyavsky reports.

The Ukraine’s gas storages are loaded only by 39%

The Ukraine’s gas storages are loaded by 39% only as of July 7th 2015.
12.1 bln cubic m of gas is stored there.
“The Ukraine has the largest underground gas storage facilities in Europe and today along with Germany and Italy it is among the leaders by gas reserves. But the storages are loaded for 39% only”, President of Ukrtransgas PJSC, I. Prokopiv, said.
Gas is accumulated at the volume of 20 mln cubic m a day.
The Ukraine annually loads 30 mln cubic m into its underground gas storage facilities.

The Ukraine imported 789 mln cubic m of gas from EU in June

​The Ukraine imported 789 mln cubic m of gas from the EU in June, by 36% more than the volume of imported gas from Russia, Ukrtransgas reports.
The largest volume was imported from Slovakia – 716 mln cubic m.
In June 2014 the total volume of gas supplies made up 0.6 mln cubic m – 100% was imported from Hungary and Poland.
As of July 1st 2015 Ukrtransgas received an application for the import of 13.6 mln cubic m from Slovakia.

Transit of Russian gas to fall by 18% in 2015 to 51 bln cubic m – Ukrtransgas

In 2015 the transit of Russian gas via the Ukraine will fall to 51 bln cubic m against 62 bln cubic m in 2014, the President of Ukrtransgas, I. Prokopiv, said.

The Ukraine wants the EU to declare contract between Gazprom and Slovakia illegal

The gas contract between Gazprom and Slovakian Eustream does not let Ukrainian and European companies carry out  reverse gas supplies. So, the contract is contrary to the EU laws, they said in Kyiv and appealed to the European Union, Reuters reports.
The Ukraine’s premier, A.Yatsenyuk insists upon contract review between Gazprom and Eustream. Kiev also attached a letter of lawyers to their letter. It is said that Gazprom hinders the operation of “Ukrtransgaz” as an operator of gas transporting system.
