The Ukraine has accumulated 17 bln cubic m of gas at its underground storages

​As of October 28th 2015 there are 17 bln cubic m of gas accumulated at the underground storages of the Ukraine, Ukrtransgas reports.
The exact volume is 16.972 bln cubic m. The maximum of 2014 is 16.6 bln cubic m. The loading goes on at 7 gas storages at the daily rate of over 70 bln cubic m a day.
The Minister of Energy and Coal, V. Demchishin, thinks the Ukraine won’t be able to accumulate 19 bln cubic m until the end of 2015.

Gas reserves of the Ukraine rose to 16.8 bln cubic m

​Gas volume at the Ukraine’s underground gas storage facilities by October 26th rose by 1 bln cubic m from the beginning of the month and makes up 16.8 bln cubic m, Ukrtransgas reports.
As of October 26th, there are 16.831 bln cubic m of gas at the Ukraine’s underground gas storage facilities, by 2% more than last year.
Gas loading is held at 7 gas storages at over 70 mln cubic m daily.
According to Ukrtransgas, on October 12-20th the volume of Russian gas purchase made up 942.113 mln cubic m. gas volume at the Ukraine’s underground gas storage facilities as of October 21st amounted to 16.505 bln cubic m.

Ukrtransgas loaded 673.2 mln cubic m of gas into underground storages in October

​Ukrtransgas loaded 673.2 mln cubic m of gas into the underground storages on October 1-19th.
On October 13-19th gas reserves at the underground storages rose by 537 mln cubic m.
In total this year 8.8 bln cubic m of gas have been loaded into the underground storages.
As of October 20th the daily loading into the underground storages makes up 81.6 cubic m of gas.
The Ukraine hopes to load 13.88 bln cubic m of gas into the underground storages in 2015.

Reverse gas supplies can not help the Ukraine, only Gazprom can, Novak

Only Gazprom can provide the Ukraine with the necessary volume of gas. No reverse from Europe can help. Minister of Energy of Russia A.Novak said.
The main thing, according to Novak, is that Naftogaz could be able to pay for the supply of gas during winter period to meet the current demand. “No one can meet the demand for gas in the Ukraine during the winter period, even reverse gas supply,” he said.

The Ukraine is behind schedule of coal and gas accumulation

In September, stocks of coal at power plants and power stations of Ukraine grew by a third, but all energy companies are behind the ministerial schedule of fuel accumulation.
It is reported by the Interfax-Ukraine, which referred to its own sources in the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of the Ukraine.
For example, in September 2015, the coal stocks in warehouses of thermal power plants and thermal power stations in the Ukraine increased by 32.2% (to 577.7 thousand tons) and by October 1, 2015, they made up 2 372.8 thousand tons.

Yatsenyuk opposes the law on rental payment reduction for gas producers

​The approved in the first reading draft law #2835 on the reduction of rental payment for gas extraction lobbies the interests of gas oligarchs and is the direct strike upon poor citizens as it breaks up the system of subsidies, PM of the Ukraine A. Yatsenyuk said.
3.3 mln households have already been issued subsidies. Moreover, there is a daily tendency to the growth of number of people who realize that the Government really grants subsidies, really compensates the growth of tariffs.
However, a serious problem arose just now – the Parliament voted for the draft law on the reduction of rental payment for gas, not the draft law submitted by the Government but the one that lobbies the interests of gas oligarchs, PM said.
Yatsenyuk added that according to the accepted as the basis of the project law the Parliament suggests reducing the rental payment for the enterprises with the so-called joint activity from 70% to a bit over than 20%.

The Ukraine imported 8.8 bln cubic m of gas from Europe over 9 months

​In Jan-September 2015 the Ukraine imported 8.8 bln cubic m of gas, which is by 4 times more than in Jan-September 2014, Ukrtransgas reports.
In Jan-September 2015, 3.8 bln cubic m of gas were imported for the needs of the domestic consumers, in September – 0.8 bln cubic m. The entire gas volume was imported by the Slovakia gas transport corridor, is reported.

In September, the Ukraine accumulated 1.2 billion cubic meters of gas

In September 2015, stocks of "blue fuel" in the underground gas storages facilities, located on the Ukrainian territory, increased by 1.2 billion cubic meters, Ukrtransgaz reports.

The Ukraine imported 8.2 bln cubic m of gas in 2015

​The Ukraine increased gas volumes at its underground gas storages up to 15.8 bln cubic m.
Gas imports in September made up 1.2 bln cubic m.
According to Ukrtransgas, the rates of gas loading in September 2015 are by 30% higher than in September 2014.
In total in 2015 the Ukraine’s storages were loaded by 8.2 bln cubic m of gas.
On September 25th 2015 the Ukraine, Russia and EU Commission signed a protocol by the so-called winter package of fuel supply.
According to the document, the Ukraine will receive 2 bln cubic m of gas.
The EU Commission will issue $500 mln for gas purchase from Russia.
Russia will grant a $20 discount per thousand cubic m.

The Ukraine remains behind last year’s rate of storage filling by 1 billion cubic meters

In recent day, the Ukraine increased its reverse gas import from Europe by 17% more - to 35 million cubic meters per day, Ukrtransgaz reports. As before, since June this year, the entire amount was delivered to the Ukraine via Slovak corridor.
