The Board of Directors of Gazpromneft approves obtaining of loans from GPN Capital

The Board of Directors of Gazpromneft approved obtaining of the loans from GPN Capital S.A, Gazpromneft reports.
No details are specified. In September Gazpromneft registered the program of Eurobonds (LPN) at the amount of $10 billion. Placing of Eurobonds organized by Credit Agricole and JP Morgan will be done via the structure of Gazpromneft - GPN Capital, RIA News reports.

Transneft announced an environmental incident at “Kuibyshev-Lisichansk” oil pipeline

“Transneft” addressed the Prime Minister D.Medvedev with a request for  assistance in the prevention of environmental disaster because of eventual oil leak from from main oil pipeline “Kuibyshev-Lisichansk in Saratov region. It is said in the letter of Transneft’s president N.Tokarev to the Prime Minister of Russia, dated October 23rd, 2013.
As it is said in the statement, a subsidiary “Privolzhsknefteprovod” held a number of activities to prevent any disasters at the main oil pipelines. One of the measures is the reconstruction of the linear part of the pipeline for a distance of about 331-367 km.
The repair operations had been planned for June. But the route goes via the Engelsk district and the territory of an individual entrepreneur N.A.Eliseeva. She prevents the reconstruction operation with an aim to “get unfounded enrichment”.

Tartar President conducts a meeting with the leaders of small oil companies

Today in Almetyevsk,the Tartar President, Rustam Minnikhanov conducted the meeting devoted to the results of the small oil companies for the 9 months and the goals to be reached by the end of 2013. The General Director of Tatneft Plc. Shafagat Takhautdinov, General Director of Nefteconsortium CJSC Fanis Valiev, the leaders of a number of republican departments and ministries, representatives of the administration of Tartar President, representatives of federal regulatory authorities and other official persons took part in the traditional meeting.
Minnikhanov started with the main numbers – federal and republican results of oil extraction for the first 9 months of the year, the press service reports. The extraction of raw hydrocarbons in Russia has increased compared to the previous year and reached more than 390 million tons. The similar situation is in Tatarstan: for three quarters the republic has extracted 24.56 million tons. The extraction of Tatneft made up 19.518 million tons, the extraction of the small companies – 5.42 million tons.

Naftogaz and Gazprom to develop the shelf of the Black Sea

The companies of Russia and Ukraine are going to develop oil deposits in the Azov and the Black Seas before water boundary delimitation is finished, the RF Minister for Foreign Affairs, Sergey Lavrov reported.
“The companies of our countries are going to develop the reserves discovered as efficiently as possible. We haven’t finished the delimitation in the Azov and the Black Seas yet. However, the international law allows the consideration of joint development before its completion”, he said.
In 2007 Naftogaz of Ukraine and Gazprom arranged joint development of Pallas structure in North-East of the Black Sea on the border of Ukraine and the RF. Naftogaz of Ukraine has already announced the completion of the 3D seismic exploration at the structure and the beginning of the data interpretation.

Zhigalovo district sets its hopes on the development of the Kovytkinskoye field

The Zhigalovo district of the Angara region sets its hopes on development of the Kovytkinskoye field. This is the first settlement, where gas from the Kovytkinskoye field will be supplied within the gas supply program in the Irkutsk region. The last stage of gas-distributing networks in Zhigalovo is being completed. Almost 400 houses can be connected with a gas pipeline already, the press centre of the regional Government reports on October, 28.
Issues of development of the Irkutsk region’s mineral resources base were considered at the meeting of the Irkutsk region’s Governor Sergei Eroshenko and the General Director of Gazprom geologirazvedka Alexei Davydov.

Gazprom opens border for the Baltic states, but this hasn’t benefited local consumers

It became known yesterday that Gazprom had allowed consumers of the Baltic states to reexport gas, thereby it has fulfilled one of the EU’s requirements. This happened “several years ago”, but the upgrade of the gas pipeline between Latvia and Lithuania was completed only in the summer. Now Lithuania, which conflicts with Gazprom and buys Russian gas at high price, theoretically can buy significant volumes at cheaper price from Latvia. But there is almost no real transportation. Negotiations are in process, but Latvia hasn’t a lot of excess gas. It’s impossible to reexport Gazprom’s gas to Europe from the Baltic states for while.

Availability of hydrocarbons in the Kara Sea is proved

The search company looking for oil and gas deposits in the Kara Sea has returned to Arkhangelsk. For three months the scientists have managed to collect about 900 water and soil samples. They report, there are hydrocarbons in the Kara Sea, though don’t specify the amount and the location, as the works haven’t been finished yet. The samples will be analyzed in St. Petersburg.
The search company had two tasks. The first one from the Ministry of Natural Resources: to take samples from the bottom of the Kara Sea. The second one from Rosneft: to visit the points specified by the company and collect the soil samples. The results of the survey are classified.

The Ministry of Energy supports an idea on privatization of the government’s stake of “Transneft”, “Rosneft” and “Zarubezhneft”

Analysts expect IAS profit of Rosneft for 9 months to grow by 22.5%

In January-September the largest Russian oil company Rosneft Plc. could increase its IAS profit by 22.5% - to 349 billion RUR. This is the consensus projections of Prime based on the opinions of analysts.
In compliance with the consensus projections, the proceeds of Rosneft could make up 3.28 trillion RUR – by 44.6% more than in January-September 2012. EBIDTA could grow by 45% - to 647 billion RUR from 445 billion RUR in 2012.

An oil company “Neftisa” of M.Gutseriev, bought out 100% shares of “UralNefteService” CJSC, is said in a statement of an oil company. The sum of the deal is not known.
