Reserves of Sarikamysh are estimated at 15 billion cubic meters of gas, they to be enough for Tajikistan during 50 years

Sarikamysh field, which is developed by Gazprom in Tajikistan, will provide the country with natural gas during 50 years, Russian Ambassador to Tajikistan Igor Lyakin-Frolov reported on Wednesday.
“Preliminary reserves of natural gas at the Sarikamysh field are estimated at 18 billion cubic meters of gas that will provide Tajikistan with natural gas during 50 years,” – the diplomat said at the conference “Russian-Tajik business dialogue” in Dushanbe.

Oil production in Russia to increase by about 1% in 2014: analysts expect growth in raw material production by 16 million tons by 2020

In 2014, oil extraction in Russia will increase by about 1% on account of Rosneft’s fields – the Vankor and Uvat, of Surgutneftegaz’s Talakanskoye field and Lukoil’s field n.a. Yuri Korchagin in the Caspian Sea, Alfa-bank’s analyst, Alexander Kornilov predicts.
By the end of the decade, three large deposits, launched in 2013, - the fields of Trebs and Titov in Western Siberia, the Srednesubbotinskoye field in Eastern Siberia and the Arctic Prirazlomnoye field – will help to increase the production by 16 million tons (300 thousand barrels per day). The possible delay of these fields launch and review of target rates make long-term forecasts less exact, analysts note.

European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to give a loan in the amount of $200 million to Lukoil for Shah-Deniz project

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has approved a loan in the amount of $200 million to Lukoil Overseas Shah Deniz Ltd, Interfax-Ukraina transmits.
As the bank’s web-site reports, the money is allocated to finance the company’s obligations on extension of the Azerbaijani field Shah-Deniz development within “Stage 1”.
The granting of the loan was approved on January, 15th.

Gazprom is driven in offers

It’s becoming more difficult for Gazprom to avoid making offers to the minority shareholders of 72 gas distribution organizations, bought from Rosneftegaz. The monopoly has been faced with claims and has now got an order from the Central Bank’s Financial Market Service to make an offer to Norilskgazprom’s shareholders. Its amount may reach 2.3 billion rubles. The order on one of the gas-distribution organizations won’t be a winning argument in the courts, but it gives grounds to the minority shareholders of other companies to demand  similar decisions from the Financial Market Service, Kommersant writes.
