On November 10, the daily gas output was 1.8555 billion cubic m in Russia,  the Central Dispatch Department of the Fuel and Energy Sector reports. Gas production was 1,316.6 million cubic m in Gazprom, 175.7 million cubic m in Novatek, 263.8 million cubic m in oil companies and 42.5 million cubic m in other companies.

In 2014-2015, Novatek will start production at 7 new deposits including 1 oil deposit

The Russian largest private gas producer Novatek will start production at 7 new deposits in the Yamal-Nenets autonomous area including 1 oil deposit in 2014-2015. The company is going to produce 0.5 million tons at the Yarudeyskoye deposit in 2015, and by 3.5 million tons in 2016-2019. Its extractable reserves by C1 and C2 and 46 million tons. Oil supplies will be performed via Zapolyarye – Purpe pipeline.

The Russian Government will spend 116.24 billion rubles to oil and gas prospecting in Far East. Minerals geological exploration in Far Eastern federal area will share not less than 40% in the state investment presupposed to these purposes in the whole in Russia.

The State Duma deputies suggest to prohibit processing in oil refining at the oil refineries

The State Duma deputies suggest to prohibit the use of the processing scheme in oil refining at the Russian oil refineries when the plant get oil under the contract with the fuel owners and return him oil refining products, under the verdict of the section of the Legislative Council under the State Duma Committee for Energy. In connection with that, they are going to recommend to the vertical-integrated oil companies of Rosneft, Gazprom Neft, Bashneft, Surgutneftegaz and others to transit their oil refineries to year-round non-processing refining scheme.

Tatneft has extracted 300,000 tons of super-viscous oil at the Ashalchinskoye deposit. The production plan for 2013 is 145,000 tons of super-viscous oil. The deposit is developed by Nurlatneft oil and gas production department of the company. Daily super-viscous oil production at the deposit is 515-520 tons. By November 2013, they have drilled there 24 well pairs and 5 steam-cyclic wells, and use 19 horizontal well pairs.

Foreign companies ask Ukraine to provide guaranteed shale gas production

The Ukraine can considerably increase shale gas production within the next 10 years with the help of  foreign companies but only if the state provides them with advantageous terms, the director of the programs of Brookings Institution. Steven Pifer says. Mr. Pifer used to be the Ambassador of the USA in the Ukraine in 2012, and was responsible for the politics with Russia and the Ukraine in the White House and the US State Department.
The Cabinet of Ministers of the Ukraine and the American oil and gas company Chevron signed on Tuesday the PSA on shale gas production at the Olessky site in Western Ukraine . Earlier they closed PSA with the British and Dutch Shell. Before the end of the year they are going to close a contract for geological exploration at the Black Sea shelf with the American corporation ExxonMobil.

Nortgaz has launched the Eastern cupola of Urengoy

Horizontal well has been successfully drilled at Achimovsky deposits of Urengoy

ERIELL Group with the complex technological support of Schlumberger has successfully drilled within a short period of time a horizontal well with depth of 5,200 m under the contract with Arcticgaz JSC at the Achimovsky deposits of the Urengoy gas condensate deposit. The horizontal hole with length of 1,000 m simultaneously outstrips 3 production objects.
