FAS permits Lukoil’s subsidiary to buy 100% of Oktan’s assets

The Federal Antimonopoly Service has considered a request of Lukoil-Permnefteprodukt (the Lukoil’s subsidiary) on purchase of 100% of balanced value of assets and intangible assets of Oktan, i.e. a filling station, and decided to grant a petition, the Service reports.

Russia sets 25-year oil extraction record

In June oil extraction in Russia made up 10.53 million barrels per day (the record since 1988). Thus, the RF outstripped Saudi Arabia which extracts 9.47 million barrels per day.

In 2012, SOCAR gained profit of $1.2 billion by ISA (+17.9%), pretax profit of $1.8 billion (+21%), oil sales revenue of $12.9 billion (+3.7 times), oil products sales revenue of $4.2 billion (+59.7%), oil chemical products sales revenue of $2.9 billion (+1.3%), gas sales revenue of $1.42 billion (+14.4%). The income structure of the company divided to $4.7 billion of oil and gas sector, and $3.05 billion of operations in the oil refining sphere.

Rosneft to be interested in attraction of external supplies of oil for processing at the Tuapse refinery

Rosneft is interested in attraction of extenal amounts of oil for processing at the Tuapse refinery, a source at the market reported to the ITAR-TASS.
According to the ITAR-TASS, a part of raw materials may be delivered from non-Russian resources.
Today the plant processes about 4 million tons of oil per year, but in the future processing capacities are planned to be significantly increased.

Rosneft has started geological exploration in the Barents Sea

Rosneft has started field seismic exploration at its license sites of Fedynsky and Central Barents. Rosneft holds their geological exploration together with Eni. They are going to hold 2 d seismic exploration with onboard gravitation magnet metric research at a rate of 9,950 linear km at 2 license sites. Data gathering will be held by a complex of geophysical methods simultaneously from a specialized seismic exploration ship. Now they are completing ecological and fishing research at the site.

Tatneft continues realization of its contract in Turkmenistan

The specialists of Tatneft continue the realization of the service contract aimed at the enlargement of oil productivity at the South Eastern site of oil field #4 of Goturdepeneft oil and gas production department in Turkmenistan. In H1 they held capital repairs and launched 5 wells and extracted 11,400 tons of additional oil.

In July, Russia has produced 4.6717 million tons of crude oil

By July 6, Russia produced 4.6717 million tons of crude oil, by 171,700 tons more than within the corresponding period of the previous month, the Central Dispatcher Department of Fuel and Energy Sector reports. Crude oil refining increased by 36,600 tons at Tuapse oil refinery, by 32,500 tons at Orsknefteorgsynthez, by 29,700 tons at Ufaneftechem, by 24,900 tons at Ufa Oil Refinery, and by 13,500 tons at Yaroslavlnefteorgsynthez.

Gunvor decreases export of Russian oil

The oil trader Gunvor has dispatched only one shipment of oil from Russia for the second month running. According to the agency Argus, in July the cargo in the amount of 100 000 tons will be formed from resources of small producers in Primorsk. In January-May, the trader shipped 300 -400 thousand tons per month from the Baltic ports.
Argus reports that Gunvor decreased purchases from Gazpromneft. The trader bought about 200 -300 thousand tons of oil from the company with shipment from Baltic ports, but from July the company reoriented all the sea shipment of Urals oil to the domestic market,Argus Media’s Director on Development, Mikhail Perfilov said. Two employees of one of oil traders, working in the port of Primorsk, have the same information. Representatives of Guvor and Gazpromneft declined to comment.

Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz to introduce new technologies in drilling

Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz (the Gazpromneft’s subsidiary) has successfully completed pilot testing of drill mud of new type “Multibur” during the drilling of side holes with horizontal tailing-in at the Holmistoye, Vorgenskoye and Karamov fields. To date, average daily yield of each pilot well make up roughly 70 tons of oil that is 3 times exceeds planned rates, the Gazpromneft’s press centre reported.
