For the first two months, export of Azerbaijani oil via BTC pipeline decreased by 14%

In January-February of the current year, the export of Azerbaijani oil via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceihan oil pipeline made up over 4.905 million tons that is by 14% less as compared to the first two months of 2012, SOCAR reported on Monday.

In 2012, Lisichansk oil-processing plant’s loss made up almost 1 billion hryvnias

In 2012, the LINIK’s net loss (Lisichansk oil-processing plant, a part of BP-TNK) made up 996.5 million hryvnias against to the net profit in the amount of 110.7 million hryvnias in 2011, LINIK’s report about the shareholders meeting on April, 11, says.
On results of 2012, the LINIK’s total accounts receivable decreased more than 2 times to 500.25 million hryvnias (in 2011 – 1.22 billion hryvnias). The long-term liabilities grew 8.7 times as compared to 2011 to 1.97 billion hryvnias.

In 2012, Novatek’s net profit under IAS decreased by 42% to 69.46 billion rubles

On Thursday, Novatek published its audited consolidated financial accounting under IAS for 2012 and 2011. On results of the last year, the company’s sales proceeds increased by over 20% almost to 211 billion rubles, and the net profit fell by 42% to 69.46 billion rubles, but the adjusted profit grew by almost 23% to 69.51 billion rubles.

The Court has obliged Orenburgneft to increase the level of associated gas utilization to 95%

The Court of the Orenburg region has obliged Orenburgneft to follow the norms of associated gas utilization for remove of damage to environment. The fuel is utilized in smaller volume as it is proposed by environment protection law and the license agreement at the Pokrovsky oil and gas deposit. The enterprise utilizes only 55% of the proposed 95% of associated gas. For prevention of negative influence to atmosphere, the Orenburg Environmental Protection Prosecutor’s office has appealed to court with a claim to remove the violations.

In January, Russia increased gas export to foreign countries by 1.1% to 12.4 billion cubic meters

In January of 2013, Russia increased the natural gas export to the foreign countries by 1.1% as compared to the same period of the last year to 12.4 billion cubic meters, the Federal Customs Service reports.
In this period, the export to the CIS countries was at the level of the previous year – 6.1 billion cubic meters.

In January, Russia decreased oil exports by 3.4% to 16.27 million tons

In January, Russia decreased oil exports by 3.4% to 16.27 million tons for $12.957 billion to far abroad, and to 2.321 million tons for $951 million, FTS reports. In the total, in January Russia exported 18.591 million tons of oil for $13.908 billion.
Oil products supplies to far abroad were 9.182 million tons for $6.942 billion, including 160,000 tons of petrol (+38.3%), 3.042 million tons of diesel fuel (+3.4%), and 4.865 million tons of liquid fuel (-10.2%).

Kabyldin: Kazakhstan to supply not less than 12 million tons of oil to China in 2013

In 2013, Kazakhstan plans to supply not less than 12 million tons of oil to China, the KazTransOil’s General Director Kairgeldy Kabyldin reported on Monday.
“According to the Ministry’s (of oil and gas) plans, the oil deliveries to China will amount to about 12 million tons,” – Kabyldin said at the press conference.

Analysts expect that 2013 will confirm change of production trend and Lukoil will reach planned pattern of growth

In 2012, the Lukoil’s net profit under US GAAP grew by 6.2% and made up $11.004 billion as compared to the same period of the last year, the company reports.
The EBITDA rate increased by 1.7% to $18 billion in 2012. The sales proceeds made up $139 billion (+4.1% as compared to 2011).
In 2012, the capital costs, including non-monetary transactions, made up $11.85 billion that is by 39.5% more than in 2011. The company’s net debt fell by 41.5% to $3.7 billion.

Gazprom can reduce the gas price for the Ukraine retrospectively from January 1st if renting the GTS

Gazprom can reduce the gas price for the Ukraine retrospectively from January 1st 2013 from the current $426 to $260 if the state introduces the amendments to its legislation granting the opportunity for the renting of its GTS by Gazprom.
Kommersant Ukraine reports that Gazprom has demanded from Kiev that it  introduce to  Ukrainian legislation a law that would guarantee renting of its GTS by Gazprom because Article 7 of the Law ‘About pipeline transport’ prohibits the granting of the GTS for rent, concession or leasing.
