"Tatneft" not to reduce the amount of exploration funding.

The amount of exploration funding in Tatarstan increases with inflation, Rais Salihov, the Deputy General Manager, Chief Geologist of JSC "Tatneft", told "BUSINESS Online". "In the recent years the exploration funding in Tatarstan is increasing with inflation, and is much higher due to the studies of Domanik deposits and hard-to-recover stocks", - Salihov stated.

In early January Nail Maganov suggested that the shale oil reserves could be involved into the commercial development in 5 - 10 years at his first press conference as the general director of "Tatneft". "Now we want to understand how we can make it more efficient and economical", - Maganov concluded.
