SOCAR has started drilling of a new well at Gyuneshli shallow water area. Its projected depth is 3,180 m. Drilling is performed from the offshore platform #11 by SOCAR-AQS under the order of Azneft production department. Development of Gyuneshli shallow water area has been performed since 1980. It shares up to 65% in total oil yield of SOCAR.
