Gazprom and Winershall AG discussed technologies in the sphere of hydrocarbon raw materials processing

The delegations of Gazprom OAO and the German company Wintershall AG in the structure of BASF Group concern visited Gazprom pererabotka OOO. The working meeting was held in conformity with the program of the scientific and technical cooperation of Gazprom OAO and the German concern BASF Group in the sphere of modeling the processing of the Achimov condensate.
During the visit there was an excursion to the site of the Surgut condensate stabilization plant and also a production conference, in the framework of which the German company got acquainted wit the processing technologies of gas condensate, applied at Gazprom pererabotka OOO and the perspectives of development of the processing capacities in Western Siberia.
I would like to thank Gazprom pererabotka OOO and Wintershall AG for the organization and participation in this working meeting. I hope for further fruitful mutually lucrative cooperation on various directions of our joint activity, the deputy head of the Department for gas, gas condensate and oil processing of Gazprom OAO, V. Veselkov said.
In 2008 Wintershall AG and Gazprom OAO officially started to produce natural gas and condensate from the Achimov layers of the Urengoi deposit. Successful production is held at all 6 experimental and industrial wells drilled at this deposit, the raw materials are shipped to the objects of Gazprom pererabotka OOO.
In the mid-2011 Wintershall AG and Gazprom OAO reached an agreement on the joint development of another 2 sites of Achimov layers of the Urengoi deposit. The condensate from these deposits will also be processed at the plants that are in the structure of Gazprom pererabotka OOO, the press service of the company reports.
