A. Lukashenko has ordered a search for oil and gas in Belarus

The President of Belarus, A. Lukashenko, asked to activate the exploration of mineral resources in the country. I can’t believe we don’t have large volumes of oil and that natural gas is absent in our subsoil. At similar territories in Russia and other countries good volumes of oil and gas are extracted as well as precious metals – everything that founds the basis of the welfare and stability in the economy of any country, Lukashenko said. The issue was raised previously but the previous Government wasn’t good in it. The President also said that the experience of foreign countries should be taken into account and cooperation with them in the sphere of exploration of mineral reserves should be set.
