Russia is looking for the unconventional gas reserves.

The posibilities of coalbed methane was discussed in Kemerovo, and the shale gas was found in Perm. Rosgeologiya and its subsidiaries found all these treasures.

Just recently, P. Panov that holds the post of Rosgeologiya’s general director visited the coal capital of Russia – Kemerovo. By the way it stands on the biggest in Russia Kuznetsk coal basin. The results of hard work have been summed up and announced there. The state agency conducted numerous studies during all the previous and the current year. And now it shared the information with the RF Ministry of Natural Resources to develop the full-scale exploration and development. According to some reports at least one third of the total diluted volume of gas in the subsoil of the country is coalbed methane, the details of which were organized the most. Now the work on it is significantly faster.
