Rosneft and North Atlantic Drilling expand cooperation on shelf

Rosneft and North Atlantic Drilling Ltd. have concluded long-term agreements for drilling on the shelf, the press centre of the company reports.
The transaction implies the attraction of six offshore rigs for the period until 2022 for implementation of offshore projects of Rosneft, including in severe climatic conditions.
After the signing. Igor Sechin stated: "The conclusion of long-term agreements for operations on the shelf will allow Rosneft to provide for the implementation of its plans on the geological exploration of licensed areas and t development of offshore fields in severe climatic conditions”.
