Foreign partners of Russian oil companies in shelf projects estimate effect of sanctions

The foreign partners of Russian oil companies in offshore projects are currently evaluating the effect of the sanctions that may jeopardize these projects in Russia. ExxonMobil, Norway's Statoil and Anglo-Dutch Shell are in the position of observers now.

Shell states that it continues to do business in Russia and refused to comment. "We continue to do business in Russia. We closely follow the measures of trade regulation and sanctions, and will act in accordance with these sanctions and measures, if necessary. At present we can’t provide more detailed comment," – the ITAR-TASS cites the message of Shell.
