The budget will receive extra 60 billion roubles, if the current way of collecting fuel excise tax is changed, InfoTech-Terminal reports. The question is about the collection of excise duty from the gas-filling stations, not from the oil refineries.
The heads of the Russian leading oil companies addressed to the President of Russia V.Putin with such initiative on March 29. It is stated in the document the suggested variant of tax collection is more logical than the current one. Excise duty is sales tax.
