Russian scientists have an idea how to make cheaper the development of oil fields

The Siberian Federal University has developed a unique technology to search minerals on the basis of extraction of information from natural electromagnetic and seismic noise, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation reports.

Scientists have found a way to significantly reduce material costs, which are required by the search for new mineral deposits. The new instrument will allow oil companies to reduce the costs for the development of platforms three times. The innovative technology is based on the principle of sound research of oil reservoirs.
