The last branch of Kazakhstan-China gas pipeline has been put into operation

​KazTransGas JSC has put into operation the last branch of the Kazakhstan-China gas pipeline.

The putting into operation of “C” branch and functioning of all three branches of the Kazakhstan-China gas pipeline is the largest international gas transportation project in the history of independent Kazakhstan. This project meets the policy of the President having connected Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and China.

The project capacity of 3 branches “A”, “B” and “C” will make up 55 bln cubic m.

Gas from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan is pumped to China by this pipeline. We have managed to open new export routes using all our transit potential. This strategy allows us to provide the infrastructure development and create new work places. Over 4 thousand specialists were engaged in  the construction of C branch only, the chairman of KazTransGas JSC, K. Sharipbaev said.

Only in 2008-2015 over 1.2 bln tenge were paid to the state budget.
