In Q3 2014 the profit of "Novatek" decreased by 68% to 7.5 billion roubles, the revenue increased by 11.3% to 84 billion roubles, the company informs. Within nine months the revenues increased by 21.8% to 260.5 billion roubles, the profit – by 11.6% to 64.5 billion roubles. The revenue growth was associated with the increased sales of liquid hydrocarbons and natural gas, as well as with the increase in the average price of gas. The negative impact on the dynamics of profit had the effect of exchange rate differences due to the depreciation by 20.3% from December 31, 2013. Without this accounting the profit attributable to shareholders of "Novatek" grew by 13.2 and 37% in Q3 and for the first nine months of 2014, respectively, the company states.
