Bashneft supports seizure of its shares from AFK Sistema

On Thursday, Bashneft supported claim of the Russian General Prosecutor’s Office for recovery of 71% of its shares from AFK Systema and its subsidiary, although it considers that AFK is a bona fide purchaser.
"If the General Prosecutor’s Office considers necessary to demand the shares from a bona fide purchaser, we can’t find counter-arguments," - a representative of Bashneft said in the Moscow Commercial Court.
