West Siberian metallurgic complex produces rails for Moscow underground

The first batch of rails for Moscow underground (1,880 tons) was dispatched from Kuzbas West Siberian metallurgic complex after large-scale reconstruction, the press service of the regional administration reports.

The department notes, the R50 rails were rolled by the new mill in September 2013. Then the rolled metal was transported to the experimental circle of All-Russian Railway Research Institute. The results of the tests proved high quality of the rails and their compliance with the State Standards (GOST) and safety norms.
