State commission on projects of Azerbaijani gas supply via the South gas corridor has been created in Azerbaijan

On Tuesday, the President of Azerbaijan Ilkham Aliev signed a decree on the creation of a State commission for the implementation of projects of Azerbaijani gas supply via the South gas corridor, the press centre of the state’s Head reports.
The discovery of the rich gas condensate field of Shah-Deniz and the conclusion of the contract on this deposit between SOCAR and well-known world companies in 1996 created conditions for attraction of scale foreign investments into economy of the country, the document says.
