543 billion rubles were invested into upgrade of refineries over the last three years, and 34 of oil refinery units were upgraded or launched, the Russian Minister of Energy, Alexander Novak reported at the meeting of the Government.
“This allowed us to stop producing motor fuel of the 2nd ecological class and increase the production of high-octane gasoline,” – he noted.
