Russia has proposed joining the project of gas supplies to India via TAPI

Russia is proposed to join the project of gas supplies to India through the TAPI pipeline. This was announced by the former vice president of ONGC Videsh Limited M.K. Nayar at the conference in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

"It is planned to use gas of Russia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, etc. in the project, which will be delivered to India through 4 transit countries along the pipe with capacity of 35 billion cubic meters per year - said Nayar. – Gas must be supplied through Afghanistan, Pakistan and already mentioned Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. We are talking about deliveries of 10 billion cubic meters of gas from Russia".
