Novak doesn’t support latest suggestions of Ministry of Finance about oil export duty

​The Ministry of Energy doesn’t support the latest suggestions of the Ministry of Finance upon the oil export duty, A. Novak said.

The Government discusses the variants of covering the deficit of the budget in 2016 by means of increasing the fiscal burden on the fuel and energy sector. The tax maneuver is planned not to be changed for the oil sector in the part of export duty reduction. In 2016 oil export duty is to fall from 42% to 36%.

The postponing of the reduction for a later date will allow to attract the additional 195 bln roubles to the budget in 2016. But initially the Ministry of Finance intended to receive 600 bln rouble by means of MET correction from the oil sector.
