Naftogaz increases legal claims to Gazprom to $24 billion because of fall in transit

Naftogaz is going to increase the size of the claims to Gazprom in the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce on the contract dated 2009 on the gas transit because of the low transit volumes.

This is stated in the annual report of Naftogaz.

"Cash requirements of Naftogaz to Gazprom the arbitration on the contract for the gas transit are only more than $11.7 billion. These requirements relate to breach of the contract till 2015 and will be expanded, taking into account the claims of 2015," - the document says.
