Minority shareholders of Bashneft may not be paid dividends

The minority shareholders of Bashneft may not be paid their dividends due to the investigation of the privatization case that has led to the significant listing fall of Bashneft, CEO of the Investor Protection Association, A. Shevchuk, said on September 29th.
On September 26th 2014 the Court arrested Bashneft’s shares that belonged to AFK Systema and Systema-Invest, by the request to the General Prosecutor’s Office of Russia.
According to the General Prosecutor’s Office, violations in the privatization of the enterprises of the Fuel and Energy sector of Bashkortostan were made and the Agency plans to claim the property from the illegal ownership.
