UC Rusal and VEB re-orient the aluminum company’s unprofitable plants

UC Rusal and VEB have closed the memorandum on intent for cooperation aimed at the re-orientation of the aluminum company’s unprofitable plants. UC Rusal and VEB are going to cooperate in the creation of production capacities for production of aluminum and aluminum alloys items including car components, rolled and wire items.

The products will be supplied to the Russian market. For example, they are the supplies of car components to the Russian and foreign producers with definite capabilities  for enlargement of the share of the Russian supplies in cars assembly. For the work within the bounds of the agreement, UC Rusal is ready to perform the search of the investors and to grant to the investors the infrastructure of the active production sites providing aluminum supplies for the items production.
