In the first six months of 2015, minerals mining in the Arkhangelsk region increased 1.5 times as compared with the same period of the previous year. First of all, the figure was reached due to the growth in the diamond mining.
The region began to have real results of the development of new deposits on its territory: in the past six months, the budget of the Arkhangelsk region received more than 688 million rubles of the tax on diamonds mining. Only in the first half of 2015, the tax on diamond mining almost two times exceeded the amount for entire 2014.
