Investment to Azeri oil sector has exceeded $2.8 billion

In H1 2013, investment to the Azeri oil sector exceeded $2.8 billion, the State statistical agency reports. They shared 30.6% in the total economy of the state. In comparison to the same period of 2012, investment to the oil sector increased by 31.3%, compared to $4.676 billion last year, and by 17% more than in 2011. Growth in investment to the oil sector is presupposed by realization of Chiraq Oil and the second stage of Shakh Deniz, sharing 23.8% in the total investment to the state economy.
